The club has moved quickly to secure the services of the seasoned centre-back, who arrives with a wealth of experience at the top end of the league after spells with Holbeach United and, most recently, Newark Town.

Braithwaite made 36 appearances for Newark Town last season, playing a key role in a side that pushed all the way to the play-offs before narrowly missing out on promotion, a campaign that underlined his quality and winning mentality.

His arrival is a statement of intent from the club, bringing proven pedigree and leadership to the backline as we look to build a squad capable of competing at the highest level.
