During his time at the helm, Sam guided the side to two strong campaigns in the Lincolnshire League, while also leading the team to both the Lincolnshire Junior Cup Final and the League Cup Final. His commitment, hard work and dedication have played a significant role in the continued development of senior football at the club.

While stepping away from management duties, Sam will remain an important part of Skegness Town FC as a committee member and will continue his involvement with our Over 35s side.

Everyone at the club would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Sam for his efforts and achievements over the past two seasons and we look forward to his continued involvement at Skegness Town FC.

Following discussions within the club, Damian Howland will now take charge of the Reserve Team, assisted by Dean Bryan.

Damian and Dean have both shown a strong commitment to developing players and providing opportunities for footballers to progress within the club. Their appointment ensures a clear and sustainable pathway beneath the First Team heading into the new season.

As part of this restructuring, the club has reviewed plans for the relaunch of the Community Team. With Damian and Dean moving into the Reserve Team setup, the decision has been taken to focus resources on maintaining a strong and sustainable Reserve Team for the 2026/27 campaign.

The club now looks forward to welcoming players, both returning and new, into the Reserve Team setup ahead of the new season. With opportunities available for players to develop, gain valuable experience and work towards progression within the football club, the future remains an exciting one for senior football at Skegness Town FC.

We wish Damian and Dean every success in their new roles and look forward to seeing the squad take shape over the coming weeks.
