Skegness Town are delighted to announce that we will welcome National League side Scunthorpe United to the MKM Stadium for a pre-season friendly on Wednesday 15th July 2026, with a 7:00pm kick-off.

The fixture represents a fantastic occasion for the club, as we host one of the most recognisable names in non-league football. Scunthorpe United boast a proud history in the English Football League, having spent over 70 years competing in the professional game, and we are looking forward to welcoming the Iron and their supporters to the MKM Stadium.

The match forms part of Scunthorpe United’s preparations for the 2026/27 season and will provide the Lilywhites with an excellent test against high-quality opposition.

Meetings between the two clubs have been relatively rare, with the most recent encounter taking place during last summer’s pre-season campaign. On that occasion, Scunthorpe ran out 3-0 winners, with goals from Callum Roberts, Declan Howe and Okera Simmonds.

We hope supporters from both clubs will join us for what promises to be an enjoyable evening of pre-season football in Skegness.
