The Lilywhites secured their first league win of the season with a 2–1 victory over Deeping Rangers at the MKM Stadium. The visitors took an early lead from the penalty spot, but the Lilywhites responded through Dec Johnson, who levelled the scores in the 22nd minute. Skegness then completed the turnaround before half-time when a Deeping Rangers own goal put the hosts 2–1 ahead. The Lilywhites defended their advantage after the break to claim a deserved three points.
