Chris Rawlinson

Biography

Chris Rawlinson has been one of the driving forces behind Skegness Town's recent rise, playing a pivotal role in shaping the club both on and off the pitch. After joining the Lilywhites in 2019 as assistant manager, Chris brought with him a wealth of experience from across the non-league game, having worked at clubs including Shepshed Dynamo, Worksop Town, Lincoln United, Spalding United and Matlock Town. Prior to that, he enjoyed success in his own right as manager of Spalding United, following a playing career that began as an apprentice at Lincoln City.

Appointed First Team Manager in 2022, Chris oversaw one of the most successful periods in the club's modern history. Under his leadership, Skegness Town established itself at Step 5, lifted the United Counties League Challenge Cup and continued to strengthen its reputation through a culture built on professionalism, hard work and continual improvement.

Ahead of the 2026/27 season, Chris stepped into the newly created role of Head of Football. He continues to work closely with First Team Manager Gary King, in a change designed to deliver accountability to first team football. He also oversees the club's footballing strategy, player recruitment approvals, and long-term development. Alongside this, Chris also serves as Club Secretary, combining his football knowledge with the day-to-day administration and governance that keeps the club operating smoothly.

Whether developing the club's footballing philosophy, supporting the management team or overseeing key aspects of the club behind the scenes, Chris continues to play an instrumental role in the ongoing growth of Skegness Town. His experience, vision and unwavering commitment have made him one of the most influential figures in the club's continued progression.
